Audrey Studios, Melbourne between 2002 and 2005. The songs are lyric-based,
with a strong emotional delivery. The music is a mixture of styles ranging from folk/ballad to rock.
Separate Ways: My parents just made an agreement and stuck to it. I have never found it that straightforward. My father chose his career and pretty much carried it out as planned. What a guy.
I wrote Welcome to Zombieland many years ago when I was doing a driving job. I was on the road 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. On the 7th day I washed my car.
Little Pieces was written in a fit of pique after a particularly unpleasant experience with a work colleague. In retrospect I was probably too harsh, but hell, it's my song and I'll bitch if I want to.
Is Anyone Out There, be they God, angels or alien spacecraft? Perhaps if I sing in falsetto they'll be shocked into noticing me. Hello? Anyone?
